Triple J-Luff

If it's meant to be, it's meant to be. If it's not, just let it be. Shed no tears, suffer no more. The right one will come, eventually. Just look around, observe, goodness and beauty are surrounding. You deserve better, it takes two to clap. Better life is waiting ahead, don't be blind-folded, toughen up. Shit happens, all unpredictable. Friends are there, mostly will back you up, some may pull you down, judge wisely. There's always a reason for everything, the reason to live not just normally, but to the full. When you look back to your past in the future, you will laugh to yourself of how foolish you have been. Cheers hunny.

Miss D will be unavailable on the 28th-30th of July. When college starts, she'll be even more busy, plus the two upcoming birthday parties. Till then, ciao.

Plug & Play at Santuary

Hey you sexy readers.. If you've started readin my blog since 2006, you will know that my previous blog address was shapalapadingdong.blogspot.com. I miss that name, do you? Drop me a comment, should I change it back?
As I was saying yesterday, I went to the Plug n Play event at Sunway Piramid. It's an outdoor event where they had band performances, games and activities. If you're a big fan of Uncle Bob's fried chicken, you should totally go there. The crowd came in pretty late though, around the evening, as I guess they couldn't take the day heat. Kathleen and Phik Mun was helping out at the event at well. At the end of the night, the Stuff anniversary party was held at Republic. You can check out Uncle Josh's blog for more pictures, which he will upload soon. Today's the last day of Plug n Play, so do check it out if you have no plans tonight. It ends at 12 midnight.

After dinner with Janice at Pan Bakery (near New Town), we headed off to The Curve to have a lil chat over upon-request-extra-strong Long Island Tea at Sanctuary and to catch Kungfu Hip Hop with Jonz. The movie, is such a copycat. They literally copied You've Got Served and Step Up 2 to the maximum. The backup dancers were way better than the lead dancers, not to mention how sucky Jordan C was. The music, totally out, the sense of fashion, I don't even wanna talk about it. It is, however, a hilarious movie if you need a laugh, especially when you're already high on alcohol, making fun of every character in the movie has never been this fun.

Cybersecurity, Take Notice.

SHOOT EM HACKERS DOWN!
Now, dear government, Malaysia or US. You don't want to shoot terrorists any longer. You've got worse threat IN your country itself. They are The Hackers. Now, beware.

These days, it is hard for us to fully rely on the computer security system, especially with the increasing number of lifeless hackers. How many would actually pay hundreds of dollars to purchase the Norton Anti-Virus or what not, to protect their computers from unnecessary threats or do you think they would rather pay for two bottles of Chivas on Friday. As silly as those who wouldn't, I am one of the victims, sadly. And again, who would have expected, right?

It was roughly two months back when T.I.S database has been hacked. (TIS: Three Inch Stiletto, an events company set up by Joe and Darynne in 2007). Have you got any idea how much loss has that caused us? Not in money wise, it was the contacts we had in there. We have learnt our lesson and finally decided to secure our database by signing up for a 'domain name' or whatever you call them. My story did not end there, next they tried to hack was mine and Joe's personal e-mail address. I mean like, what's their problem? It must be someone who knows well about us. Then again, we've got no prove. sigh.

There was this incident which taken place when I was working at the International Beauty Expo 08' a couple weeks back. I managed to convince this old couple about the goodness of the product I was selling and they decided to pay by credit card. Just as they realized that we were using the online transaction system, they snatched back their credit card and paid with cash instead. The reason was because they once experienced online fraud and lost a large sum of money. Oh dear.. no wonder.

You know how we love using messengers to communicate with friends, colleagues, clients, family and some, strangers. From the ICQ generation to now, MSN. Yet, what do we often receive nowadays? Virus, virus and more viruses! Our documents get corrupted, our memorable pictures, our favourite track from Chris Daughtry and Michael Buble.. everything! pssst..

There are many solutions to these problems but some people like me, just couldn't be bothered. However, do check this out. It seems interesting. You know.. to fight your enemy, you must first learn about them.

Live Up The Assuntarian Spirit!

Back to school.. Back home..

I had a visit to my former highschool the other day to collect my 2006 SPM cert after two years. Besides the new art building, nothing much has changed. Taking a step back into the school gave me the old feelings again. The people, the food, the sleep in class, the glam events which took part.. I've always been proud of my beautiful school regardless of my hatred towards homework. My school has always been popular amongst the boys around town, duh, it's an all-girl school after all.

Why is it called the Thinking Pool? Okay, fine. It's built so that the students could have some peaceful moments there as they read or what not. It has been there for ages. It's like a Wishing Pool as for some of us do flick some coins into it hoping that our wishes could be granted. *ahem* With the noises that come from the classes nearby, what peace could we get? hah.

Like it or not, I think it's beautiful.

We could not access into the gallery. This was the closest shot I could get of the room, sadly.

Look, the canteen is facilitated with TV and proper seats.

Ouh, girls, remember how we used to love the potatoes and curry? It was our favourite stall.

The last stop we had was the Biologi lab to visit Pn. Jasminder. She still remembers us, duh. She must have had a hard time dealing with a bunch of monkeys like us in her class for that two years. Pretty sure she loved us best!

Assunta teachers are RICH. This ride belongs to this former Miss Penang. hahah. I remembered her *In The Room With Husband* joke. Come on, she actually told us of it in class alright? She may look insane but she's definitely a cool one.

For some reason, it is funny how we still obey the No Black Stairs rule even when we're already out of school. For those non-Assuntarians, there's a rule about this stairs near the teachers office. It's not black, it looks perfectly normal, and students are prohibited from using that stairs. It's for teachers only. Some said it was haunted, some said there's a curse on that... you know.. rumours.. We respected it anyway.

SHOOT HER DOWN! She's VG, our school guard and she's a major pain in the ass. Trust me, you don't wanna be nice to her, not even for a minute.

Dear parents, you would want to send your children to Assunta. It is indeed a beautiful school with beautiful people, producing beautiful and intelligent students. Drop the nonsenses people's been telling you about how naughty the students turned out to be. These students are bright enough to be successful in life. Assuntarians are unique in our own ways, each and every one of us, with strong personalities. We've got the spirit living us up through our daily lives. Our school is not fully supported by the government so could you consider that as a convent school? Ask the PM's wife, she's also a former Assuntarian.

JASPAL

Give' Me Some SPACE premier JASPAL Spring/ Summer Collection 08'. The fashion show was held at Space, Heritage Row last night. There were slight media coverage as well as photographers covering the event. The event started pretty late and everything was pretty fast moving. Thank GOD Godzilla wasn't there the entire night to spoil the atmosphere as apparently she got screwed. hah. (In YOUR FACE!)

Jaspal, a collection of gorgeous clothes and bags. It can be found at the Pavilion KL on the 3rd floor. Do check it out.

It was also Raj's Birthday. Sorry boss... They were leaving already when I was about to join them at Mansion. I am pretty sure they had a good time there. Cheers boss, yEng, Lin...

At Space with me were Ebelin, Eugene, Sie Yuen, Michelle, Benny, Gary and their friends. We took lots of pictures but they're mostly taken with Mich's camera so I shall upload more next time once I get em' all from her.

Steffie, Jason and Amirul came later in the night. Bar Club was packed, surprisingly, but I was too tired to do anything after my many glasses of drinks and since I've not been getting enough sleep, I totally lost my mood.
