Days are getting boring. There aren't much to do on weekdays anymore.
I was suffocating last night and I don't really know why. God was probably giving me a sign to quit smoking. Firstly, it's bad for lungs. Secondly, its nine bucks now!
OMG. Hang me.

Patriotism Baby!

Omigod. Lets all fly to Langkawi to stock up our cigs for a year. Politicians getting more kelam-kabut these days giving public more headache. How la? Condoms are cheaper than guns, so make love, not war. Lately when I was blog hopping, I stumbled upon a few interesting pictures.

Photobucket
I stole one of it to show you guys so check out more of it on her blog.
Being typical Malaysians, when it comes to big ocassions like this, we take the opportunity to drink ourselves to glory and stay out the entire night. Right or not?
Met Amirul for dinner around 7 something and we went to Euro Deli. Mana tao unlike the usual days, it was full. We didn't make any reservation so we left to Tree House and had my yummy Tom Yum Soup Noodle. *slurps* Blah, Danny all didn't wanna go we pandai-pandai Loo went for first round at H2O first. Second round we went to Victor T's place at Damansara Idaman. Houses there are freaggin huge and nice, his was facing the lake. WTF. Damn nice loe.. We were chilling by the lake the entire night!

This poison contains 60% alcohol, the effect is like three times of whisky or more. It tasted like Listerine though. The guys.. were crazy. Played some games and they mixed Absinth, Black Label, wine and Coke together. Siao. Played till 3 something we ordered McDonalds and wOw! It kept us waiting for more than an hour when we were told only 45 minutes. Should've driven out and eat man.

Amuleto

Warmly welcomed by Jess and Stella at the entrance, the Special Assistant to Managing Director of Crystal Jade Culinary Concepts Holding at Amuleto, Midvalley. I had a plesent little first experience there at the casual chic dining restaurant. We were served their house mocktail that has tiny bits of kiwi, strawberry and orange in it and I think I tasted some carbonated mix. Not bad, but I much prefer their house pouring wine. Very different from the usual reds I've tasted so far and they have obviously recommended their best.

This unique tapas dish came first on the list. Cold and light, fish tomatoe, cucumber and carrot wrapped in a thin layer of beef topped by fish eggs. Not bad, just that I am not a fan of beef. Price: RM10

Photobucket
I didn't know what this was when it was served. Papaya strips mixed in their special Thai sauce gave it a sweet and sour taste with a little spice with slight chicken floss topping it. Looks alot like the Chinese 'yu-sang' that you have on CNY dinner gathering and it tasted a little like it as well. Price: RM11

Photobucket
By just looking at it makes me drool. To me it was just another plate of fried spaghetti with olive oil taste and a generous amount of seafood. Very Malaysian style and it sure was yummy. Price: RM15

Photobucket
This plate of steak is not the usual ones that I have. Fully cooked which took away the tenderness of the meat and the wasabi is spicier than usual. I only had a pinch of it and I almost teared. However, the taste of wasabi was not 'that' strong as compared to those I have in Jap restaurants. Price: RM30 (100g), RM36 (180g)

Photobucket
French Onion, Pumpkin, Mushroom and Brocolli soups. It came in small glasses, very unusual. I chose my favourite soup which is the mushroom and I loved it. This Quatet Soup is on the menu, served specially for indecisive people who wants to taste all four kinds of soups. Very smart. Price: RM12

Photobucket
This dish is real good. The green is actually the usual 'kangkung' that I have but no one could really tell. Deep fried to make it crispy and tasted really well with the shredded scallop. Obviously the must-try in the menu. Price: Unavailable

Photobucket
Calling out to cheese lovers. Served on a pan, the thick layer of sinful cheese wrapping the glutinous rice cake with a slight burnt taste. It was meant to taste like that. St3ffie's favourite. Price: Unavailable

Photobucket
What's Rosti? Onion, onion and more onion! Mushrooms cooked with a very creamy sauce, I likey. Dip it in cream? Hmm.. Not my usual way of eating it. Price: RM12

Photobucket
Chocolate Fondue! How often do you find white chocolate fondues? I may not dig chocolates the fondue way, but I liked the white chocolate dip. It adds sweetness to the fruit whilst the dark chocolate adds bitterness which I never fancied. Guess what I found on the menu? Cheese Fondue! Who's up for it? Price: RM30

With all cocktails priced at RM25 and a pint of draft beer at RM20.90, friendly waiters and services, smoking area at the back with comfy round couches, I would go there again on my next visit to Midvalley.

Amuleto by Crystal Jade - "Refined Food Culture..", established in Singapore 1991 has the total of 40 branches in Asian Pacific Region today. One of their two western cuisine branch is located at Midvalley, in between Maybank and Seed (near Chillies). Good food & beverages at very reasonable prices with such ambiance, I think it is all in a package.

Jess' photographer friend, the Editor of Daily Lifestyles online magazine. His studio is located at Hartamas which provides photoshoot services and lots more. So you can freely check it out.

He was The Wine Man who recommended the best wine of the night. Just look at him, I think he was drunk.

I'm Sorry

Fuuuh *wipes off sweat*. She does care and I'm grateful. It was all a miscommunication, misinterpretation, judgement problem and NOT HAVING FAITH. I admit that it was my fault. It's the different personality of us three that always causes problems. One thing common about us is we put Friendship at the top. We don't always show and say how we feel towards people who truly matters, but we always care. They've been best and longest of friends of mine and I know that because they proved it to me and I thank Lord for that. Really. Come to think of it, I was the one who hasn't done much for them. I know things have not been easy for all of us as we each face different problems. My bad. I promise to make it up to both of you in my own ways. But I believe that we will be able to find the solutions together slowly. Just.. keep believing. I plead.

Do You Care?

I'm not gonna update on the events yet as I've got a more important thing in mind now. So try to feel it.

Something really upsets me today. It was something about this two person I care about most and the longest. We've been through a lot of conflicts against one another. What does Friendship mean to you? Just a word or do you just have a different perception of it. We do not take advantage of one another, we share and care, forgive and forget, and above all, love each other. We shouldn't judge them by their status, popularity or whatsoever. You may get good treatments from friends but that doesn't give you the right to abuse your blessings, neither should you just take and not give. The last thing you should never do is to look down upon them and not say a word when outsiders are dissing them even though whatever they say may be true. At the end of the day, your real friends that you let others diss are the ones who will unconditionally lift you up expecting nothing in return, silently give you the warmest hug and be there to cry with you, not there to watch. Do you get the real message of this whole thing I'm trynna say? There will always be the weak and the strong in a group of mates. The stronger ones should be there to guide and help the weak automatically and not only when being told. You don't just walk away and laugh with strangers when your friend tripped right next to you, do you? How do you like to be treated is exactly how your friends would like to be treated by you. People don't always tell or show that they care when they really do, actions speak louder than words. You may not hear from them often, but that doesn't mean you have been forgotten. The disappointment and anger in me right now cannot be dissolved until we talk it out. If She still cares to keep our friendship solely because She treasures it, She will do what's right. I'm so fed up of having to cope with the same problem over and over for almost the past century. Now that the issue has worsened, and I still very much care about Us, we need a private heart to heart talk soon. Do you know who You are?

Flying Pigs

Wow! I so am staying awake for class later. It's like 4:44 in the morning now, and it's only about roughly an hour and a half before I start cleaning up for college. Oh, and Murni's food SUCKS big time tonight. Josh and Jess said it tasted like Fab (soap). Meeting this afternoon turned nasty. So much of personal issues and politics. I seriously doubt if they can handle the sky-high stress in the working world. Not like I've actually experienced it.. heheh.

I was at this bloggers food tasting thingy at this very decent restaurant in Midvalley where I enjoyed the yummy house pouring red wine and food before I left for the Clive event at Poppy earlier with Steffie and Jess. Update on that next. In my opinion, I think it was one of the worst event I've attended so far. Despite the fact that I was extremely late when it started at eight (Ebe and all left to Space before I reached), it was supposed to be more happening as it gets later.(Josh Lim and Joshua was there) Instead of that, everyone left, leaving a bunch of grr.. don't wanna talk about them. Whatever it is, we left for Euphoria thinking that my college mates were gonna be there. Then guess what? They weren't. Fuckin dulan big time. Prem was there, Ken Joe too, Ian, Nickolai*, Jolene, Nickolas*, Sam, Alyaa, Hemraj and Gavin was there though. We three lost souls were circling the place and wondering around then ended up with Gavin and his friends. What a night. The usual bunch of boys were amazingly SLEEPING at home when they were usually out at this time of the week. The pigs are so flying man.

I got so wasted last night on Captain Morgan. I must agree with Amirul that it was a good drink and quite addictive. Funny thing was, when I was trying to force everything out in the ladies, some blardy bitch sprayed some water at me from the next cubicle making me soaking wet! What on earth was wrong with her! gosh! She better thank Lord that I was too tipsy to give her a tight slap. I remembered how I made Amirul stop the car by the roadside every five minutes on the way fetching me home. Another lesson learned, always have something light before drinking or you'll be suffering like how I did last night. Massive head spin, hangover in class the next morning and countless embarressing moments. Not forgetting how ugly you will look. Thank God my eye candy wasn't there to witness all that bullshyt. Now my dad thinks that Amirul is a married man who drags me out till late at night everyday! Ohmigawd.

JoE will be enjoying her holiday with SQ and his hot friends in Langkawi later. Hmph! I was supposed to go okay! I miss that place. Too bad I can't make it this time. Sponsor me a trip to Australia la deyh. Its kay, she's buying my things for me. wheee. I gave her a list to shop for me. whooohoo. LoveLove her bunch!

Okay. Out of words. Ciao.

Since today's the actual birthday of St3ffie, I suppose there's another round tonight. hmm. Feeling so sleepy now but shall hit the gym today no matter what. I was so excited with the shopping I had yesterday. The usual place, Bangsar. Goods there are getting yummier every time I shop there. ahh.. forgot the eyebrow threading. It only cost me five bucks! Dirrrrt cheap! and they beutify my eyebrow. :) However, now, I'm officially b.r.o.k.e .
